PLACEMENT GUIDELINES

The Placement Department of St. Francis College assists students in securing employment opportunities, provided they fulfill the following eligibility criteria and guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria and Guidelines

  1. Students who wish to avail placement opportunities must register with the Placement Cell. Registration will be conducted annually or as per the academic calendar.
  2. A minimum of 80% attendance in all placement-related activities including training sessions, workshops, and placement drives is mandatory. Failure to attend without valid reasons may lead to removal from the placement program.
  3. Students must not have any subject backlogs at the time of placement registration. Those with pending backlogs are not eligible.
  4. All pending semester fees must be cleared before registering for placement opportunities. Students with unpaid fees will not be considered.
  5. Students must submit a soft copy of their resume in the prescribed format to the Placement Officer. Failure to submit may result in exclusion.
  6. Each student is entitled to a maximum of three interview opportunities but only one job offer. Once an offer is secured, it is final. Students must submit a soft copy of the offer letter to the Placement Cell, even if the job is secured independently.
  7. Opt-In / Opt-Out: Participation in placements is the student’s responsibility. Students opting out must inform the Placement Cell and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) signed by parents.
  8. Registered students must participate in all placement drives organized by the Training & Placement Cell. Failure to attend interviews after registration may result in disqualification from future opportunities.
  9. Interview schedules are decided solely by recruiting companies. Students must strictly adhere to the given date, time, and venue.
  10. All communication with recruiting companies must be routed only through the Placement Cell.
  11. Students are expected to maintain discipline and professional conduct throughout the placement process. Any misconduct may lead to cancellation of placement registration.

General Guidelines

  • Students must demonstrate professional behavior at all times.
  • Absence from scheduled interviews without valid justification will result in disqualification from further interviews.
  • All job offer letters must be submitted to the Placement Cell for record-keeping.
  • Students opting for higher studies must submit proof of enrollment.

Conclusion

The Placement Policy ensures equal opportunities for all students while maintaining high standards of discipline, professionalism, and performance. The Training & Placement Cell will continue to support students in securing employment; however, final placement depends on individual effort and preparedness.
