Overview

The Library Committee has been formed with the objective of modernizing and strengthening library services. The Principal of the Institution serves as the Chairman of the Committee, while the Chief Librarian functions as the Member-Secretary. Faculty members from various disciplines and two student representatives are members of the Library Committee.

Aims and Objectives

  • To assist and advise the Head of the Library in framing library policies.
  • To recommend the purchase of books, journals, and other library resources.
  • To support the continuous improvement of library and information services.

Vision

To be a hub of knowledge providing organized, completely and timely access to both local and remote resources.

To employ new developments in Technology to expose the ever-expanding frontiers of knowledge to staff and students.
