The Department of MCA successfully organized VerbaTact: The Battle of Wits, an engaging and intellectually enriching event aimed at enhancing communication skills, logical thinking, and verbal articulation among postgraduate students. The event was conducted on 09th July 2025 at 10:50 AM in the 6th Floor Seminar Hall, St. Francis College.The event was open to all postgraduate students and provided a competitive platform for participants to demonstrate their verbal intelligence, quick thinking, and analytical abilities. VerbaTact consisted of well-structured rounds that focused on vocabulary usage, situational reasoning, logical responses, and effective communication. These activities encouraged students to think critically and express their ideas confidently within limited time frames.The program was organized under the guidance of Dr. Nazura, Ms. Sajana B, Ms. Lakshmi Devi C, and Mr. Prince Priyaraj, whose planning and coordination ensured the smooth conduct of the event. The faculty coordinators were ably supported by the student coordinators Janani K, Vishnu K L, Divyashree G, and Pradeep S, who efficiently handled participant coordination, time management, and event logistics.Many students actively took part in the competition, displaying enthusiasm and a strong competitive spirit. The interactive format of the event promoted active participation and helped students improve their confidence, clarity of thought, and verbal proficiency.Overall, VerbaTact: The Battle of Wits was a successful academic initiative by the Department of MCA.
