The ‘Cooking Without Fire’ competition was successfully organized on November 5, 2025, at 2:30 PM in the College Quadrangle, under the auspices of the Chinnudi Kannada Sangha and Yuva Srijan Sahitya Sangh of the Department of Languages. The main objectives of the competition were to promote the art of cooking, raise awareness among students about new tastes and healthy food, and provide a platform to showcase creative culinary skills without the use of fire. A total of 20 teams from various semesters of the college enthusiastically participated in this competition. Each team demonstrated their culinary expertise by preparing innovative and delicious dishes without applying any heat. The creativity and hygiene maintained by the participating students were highly commendable.Shri Dr. Rama Krishnappa, Head of the College Library Department, and Smt. Bharathi G R, Assistant Professor from the Computer Science Department, graced the event as the Chief Judges. The judges meticulously scored the contestants based on the taste, presentation, and healthy quotient of the prepared dishes.The College Principal, Dr. R.N. Subba Rao, was present at the event, where he appreciated the dedication of the students and extended his best wishes. The smooth execution of the program was ensured by the diligent efforts of the organizers and student representatives. Three winning teams were respectfully honored with a Cash Prize from the college on the occasion of KANNADA RAJYOTSAVA DAY. The ‘Paaka Kaleya Power Play’ competition successfully inspired students to develop not only culinary skills but also a healthy lifestyle and a creative mindset.
