The Department of Hindi successfully organized an exciting quiz competition titled “Kaun Banega Gyaani” on 23 October 2025. The event aimed to enhance students’ knowledge of the Hindi language and general awareness while promoting learning through fun and interaction. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation and active audience involvement, making it both educational and entertaining.A total of 24 teams, each consisting of two members, participated in the competition. The event began with an elimination round, designed to test participants’ basic knowledge, quick thinking, and teamwork. This round ensured fair competition, as students relied purely on their intellect without using digital devices. From this round, the top 10 teams qualified for the main event.The main competition consisted of three engaging rounds. The Memory Game tested observation and recall skills, keeping participants alert and focused. The Advantage Round, featuring tongue twisters, added humour and excitement, challenging students to perform under time pressure. The final round, Sell the Product, evaluated creativity, communication, and persuasive abilities, as teams confidently marketed imaginative products before the judges.Throughout the event, participants displayed confidence, teamwork, creativity, and presence of mind. The audience remained actively engaged, cheering for the teams and enjoying the lively atmosphere.In conclusion, “Kaun Banega Gyaani” successfully combined knowledge, creativity, and entertainment. The competition enhanced critical thinking, communication skills, and confidence among students. Overall, the event was a memorable and enriching experience that encouraged active learning and left a lasting impression on participants and spectators alike.
