The English Department’s Muses Club hosted a unique event titled “Adaptation Challenge” on 28th March 2025 at 2:30pm in 4th Floor Seminar Hall. This writing-based competition invited students to creatively adapt existing movie plots—reworking them with unexpected twists, genre swaps, or alternate endings.A total of 21 students participated with great enthusiasm. Each participant was given choice of movie list made with time limit of 60mins.Participants demonstrated excellent imagination and a bold approach to storytelling. Some rewrote tragic endings into comedies, while others infused fantasy into realistic plots. The freedom to manipulate narratives brought out the students’ flair for character development, pacing, and theme construction.
